Bethesda also announced that “you’ll be able to browse and try mods within the game” which is an increasingly exciting prospect. Mods can be created using Bethesda’s official mod creation tool which will only support in-game assets and not “external assets”. No release date has been confirmed for the Fallout 4 upgrades but Bethesda did state that the game would be updated “after the work is complete on Skyrim”. While Skyrim seems to be the main priority for the good people at Bethesda and Sony, Fallout fans can rest easy as the game will also be updated with mod support and PS4 pro support. Bethesda also showed off a few beautiful 4K screenshots from within Skyrim and, suffice it to say, the game looks spectacular. Bethesda stated that “mod support will come to Skyrim first”. Skyrim will be releasing with mod and 4K support on October 28, coinciding with the Special Edition release date. The news came from Bethesda’s official website where they revealed some of the information. This news comes just a month after Sony’s decision to not allow mod support onto the PlayStation 4. Mod support and 4K support will be releasing to PlayStation 4 players in the coming months. Bethesda has just announced some great news for any Fallout 4 or Skyrim fans.
